This morning we were greeted by a terrible storm and even worse than that, Mr J woke us up at 6.45am because we had the early breakkie slot! He even took photos of us in our ‘just got out of bed’ look!
Our first activities were orienteering and Jacob’s ladder in the wind and rain but the good old British weather was no match for us… we made the most of the views of the rugged coastline, wrapped up warm and got stuck in!
All pile on!
Next up was the leap of faith where EVERY single person challenged themselves to reach new goals! All the teachers were so proud of us! Oh and the sun came out after lunch, too!
Sam wouldn’t let go!
Freya even pushed herself to complete a ‘trust fall!’ Wow!
The enetertainment and fun kept coming...
After an action-packed day of high-rope activities, it was time to prepare for the disco!!!!
All set for the party! After an hour or two of ‘dancing’ (Scott has some amazing moves!) which finished with a disco classic -YMCA (Mrs Parmiter was in her element!) the sun had settled on yet another brilliant day! “We love being in year 6!”
It’s not over yet though – we have a whole morning of kayaking still to come! Can’t wait!
(Special thanks to Kitty for helping write the blog tonight)
