Supporting well-being and mental health
At St Michael’s C of E Aided School, we believe emotional wellbeing is essential for students to achieve their full educational potential and to grow into confident, responsible individuals prepared for life beyond school.
As a Church school, our Christian ethos of love, respect, and honesty is at the heart of everything we do. It guides our efforts to provide a nurturing, creative, and inclusive environment for all members of our school community, including pupils, parents, and staff.
We are committed to promoting positive mental health and wellbeing for everyone in our school. This commitment is supported through:
A whole-school approach that includes all pupils, parents, carers, and staff.
Tailored interventions to support those who may be particularly vulnerable.
Our aim is to ensure that every child and family feels valued, supported, and empowered to thrive.
If you have concerns regarding your child’s mental health, please get in touch with your child’s class teacher a member of the Leadership Team or our Senior Mental Health Lead, Miss James. This can be done in person or via Weduc.
