Welcome to Rowan class
Welcome to Rowan class, where you will find wonderful writing, marvellous Maths, astounding athletes and a group of absolute superstars! Step into our classroom and you will meet a group of caring, thoughtful and hardworking children who love nothing more than discovering something new, working to the best of their ability and enjoying a laugh or two along the way.
We all have a real love of learning in Year 5 and that is evident throughout everything we do. We throw ourselves into whatever challenge we are faced with, whether that’s a tricky Maths problem, a beautiful piece of writing or an investigation in our Topic work. There’s a real sense of joy in Rowan class when we conquer something particularly tricky.
As well as that though, and most importantly, you will never find a class of kind, caring, humorous and genuinely decent human beings anywhere else. Every day we show one another the love and friendship needed to bring sunshine to a cold, wintery day and there is never a moment when anyone is left out. The sound of laughter soars from our classroom and throughout the school day in, day out – a truly wonderful place to learn.
