Clubs
St Michael’s offers many opportunities for the children to be involved in activities outside the curriculum both at, and away from the school.
The clubs on offer vary from term to term and can be run by teachers, professional clubs for example Swindon Town Football Club, or by parent volunteers. The one thing that our club leaders have in common is that they’re all passionate about the subject, game or activity they’re teaching. And of course they’re all DBS checked and have liability insurance as required.
What else do you need to know?
All clubs run from 3:15pm to 4:15pm, although occasionally this may vary. Places are reserved but are only confirmed after payment has been made through ParentPay.
We issue a booking form towards the end of each term and it’s advisable to return this as soon as you can to avoid disappointment. The booking form is emailed but a letter is sent out to confirm a place. In the event that a club is over subscribed, your child will be put on a priority list for the following term.
Sometimes things change at the last minute. In the event that we have to cancel a club, we will notify you either by email or phone call.
