Our School Day

Our school day starts at 8.35am when children come straight into school for an early morning activity.
The day is structured as follows:

| 9.00am | Phonics and spellings or mental maths activities across school |
| 9.30am | English/maths and/or continuous provision (KS1 & Reception) |
| 10:40am | KS2 Break |
| 10.55am | English/maths and/or continuous provision (KS1 & Reception) |
| 12.00pm | Lunch |
| 1.00pm | Collective worship |
| 1.20pm | Afternoon lessons |
| 3.15pm | End of school |
In Foundation stage, formal teaching sessions are kept short with plenty of opportunities for the children to learn through play both indoors and outside.
Collective Worship Assemblies:
8.50am – Monday – Worship
1pm – Wednesday – Signing
1.15pm – Thursday – Share the Story
9am – Friday – Celebration Assembly
Each class will start their day with the ‘mile run’ on the school’s running track.
The total time in school in a typical week is 32.5 hours.
