Birch Class Back In The Forest!

We began our session with a fun game out on the field. Wearing blindfolds, the children followed the sound of the tambourine, which led to lots of excitement, laughter, and teamwork!

Once we arrived in the forest, everyone was eager to explore and get started with their chosen activities. Some children learned how to whittle, while others practiced their fire lighting skills and helped to build and light the fire. There was plenty of tree climbing and imaginative play around the large fallen tree. Some children created fantastic clay sculptures, while others enjoyed sliding down the mud slide!

Towards the end of the day, we all gathered together around the fire to toast apples and enjoy a hot chocolate while Mr Jarvis read us a lovely story. What a wonderful way to end the week!
