Year 5 and 6 spent the day living, training and fighting like Vikings and Saxons. The whole day was based around an historical narrative, teaching the children all about aspects of Viking/Saxon life in Britain culminating in re-enacting Saxon and Viking battles to capture the territory of Wessex.
