Today, Years 3 and 4 visited the Corinium museum in Cirencester and stepped back in time to 45AD when the Roman fort of Corinium was established. The children enjoyed exploring Roman life through food, games and mosaic. We then braved the heavy rain and mud to visit the Roman amphitheatre and re-enacted a gladiator battle, while imaging the cheering crowds.
