A lovely afternoon was had in the Forest this week for Cherry. The children are getting much better at their hoop challenge and are even getting quicker at completing!
Round the log circle, the children were really good at going through the Rules. Lots of children had completed the Garden Bird Watch at the weekend – long tailed tits, wood peckers all recorded. They couldn’t wait to share their findings!
The main task was to make wands, using material they could find in the forest and natural bird feathers. Such beautiful wands were made. The children then dispersed played wonderfully together. Lots of children made their own hot chocolate which they said was delicious!
At the end of the sessions the children thought their wands had bought the lovely weather!
