Year 5 had the most amazing day at Hampton Court this week. Firstly, we spent some time in a classroom and used some primary sources to explore some different questions. We had to corroborate sources to be able to decide whether Henry VIII was a fair king, whether he was happy at Hampton Court, whether he was like other kings and more. Later in the day, we also had time to explore the palace. From the enormous fire places in the kitchens, to the maze and beautiful gardens, there was so much to be in awe of. Thank you to everyone at Hampton Court for giving us such an awesome day of learning and wonder.
