As part of our English learning this term, we have been exploring the exciting Artemis II mission. Using the knowledge we have gained, we have written some fantastic pieces of work featuring fronted adverbials to make our writing more detailed and engaging. This week, we worked together to share our writing and discuss ways to improve it. We carefully checked our work to see if we had missed any punctuation or could make our sentences even better. Collaborating in this way is a fantastic way to develop and improve our writing skills!
In Geography this term, we are learning about rivers, how they are used and the water cycle. This week, we explored where rivers begin and where they end, as well as the three main stages of a river: the upper course, middle course, and lower course.
To deepen our understanding, we studied different river features and worked together to place each image into the correct section of the river course. These features included an oxbow lake, valley, meander, delta, and estuary. Great Work Elder Class!
