This week in History, we learned all about Stone Age settlements and discovered the fascinating site of Skara Brae in Orkney. The children were captivated by the similarities and differences between the lives of Stone Age people and our own today.
After exploring the features of the settlement in detail, the class worked collaboratively in groups to design and create their very own Neolithic dwellings—not from stone, but from plasticine! Their creativity and teamwork was fantastic to see.
