What a day! Cherry and Elder had an absolutely amazing time on our trip to Boscombe Beach. We couldn’t have asked for better weather! The sun was shining, the skies were blue, and the excitement was sky-high from the moment we set off!
As soon as we arrived, we were eager to explore the beach! We built sandcastles, made beautiful sand art, collected many pebbles and shells and had great fun burying each other in the sand. Some children were keen to use the sports equipment and had a great game of volleyball!
Throughout the day, we went in groups to go for a stroll along the Pier and learned about the history of Boscombe Beach. We were fascinated to learn that many years ago a whale had washed up on the beach!
It was a joy to sit with our friends on the beach and have lunch watching the sea! Fortunately there weren’t too many sandy sandwiches!
After lunch, it was time for a whippy ice cream and a paddle in the sea! It was great fun jumping over the waves trying not to get too wet! Although some may have enjoyed the sea a little too much…!
Below are the fabulous pictures of our visit to the beach!
