Day one of our residential began with a BANG! After hopping off the coach and finding our rooms, we were soon dressed in our adventure gear and heading out into the forests and valleys surrounding the village of Pencelli. We had the most amazing time clambering inside(!) and through trees, whizzing down mud slides, wading through streams and climbing up waterfalls! It was AWESOME! There were some pretty tricky obstacles along the way but everyone showed such brilliant bravery, determination and team spirit. Once we got back to base, we dried off, had dinner and then headed out into the darkening evening for some problem solving activities. After that, we warmed ourselves up with a cup of hot chocolate and had a sing-a-long to celebrate yesterday’s birthday boy!
