A group of children from Years 4 and 5 took part in a football at Pewsey Vale today. Despite the freezing cold and drizzle, we saw so much amazing play, sportsmanship and resilience across lots of different games, where we won, lost and drew in equal measure. Some real highlights included an amazingly close girls’ match that ended in a narrow 6-5 defeat, and a close 1-1 draw for the boys team that included a goal disallowed in our favour! Very close! Well done to the boys team who finished joint 3rd in their competition and to the girls who finished 4th in their competition.
