Geography in Elder Class!

This term in Geography, we have been exploring where our food comes from. We have looked at how our food choices impact the planet, what it means to trade fairly and how chocolate is produced. As part of this, we investigated cocoa bean production in Côte d’Ivoire and considered the benefits and drawbacks of importing food.

We have also been studying an atlas to locate Côte d’Ivoire, identifying its neighbouring countries, capital city, and climate. We were fascinated to find out where different foods come from and quite a few really surprised us!
