The children have thoroughly enjoyed the start of their new DT project- learning all about wheels and axles. They explored a variety of toys from home, noticing whether they had fixed or freely moving axles. We looked at different materials and discussed their suitability for models and had a great time designing and making some very cool models! We have also started our new ‘Just Reading’ book, called ‘The Boy Who Grew Dragons’, which has inspired some more great deigning and making!
