We’ve had a bright and busy start to the new term in Acorn Class. The children have been learning about the celebration of Diwali, the Hindu Festival of Lights, and the story of Rama and Sita. We also spent time talking about our own experiences of celebration and what makes these moments special. In art, the children explored using clay, we made some diwa lamps as well as a touch of pumpkin creativity still shining through from Halloween. A lovely start to a new term.
