Year 3: On Wednesday 6th February Year 3 will be visiting Oxenwood Outdoor Centre to further explore our topics. There will be a cost for this payable on ParentPay. To keep cost to a minimum, we aim to use volunteer drivers to and from Oxenwood leaving at 9.15am and returning at 12.15pm. If you can help please fill out the form overleaf.
Year 4: As part of our topic work on settlements from the Iron Age, on Tuesday 12th February, Year 4 will be walking from Liddington Warren Farm to Liddington Castle. All children will need suitable waterproof footwear for a 3 mile walk and warm, waterproof clothing. We will leave school at 12.30pm returning for 3.15pm. If you are able to help with driving, or wish to join us on the walk please complete the slip below.
KS1 would like to update their fantasy world toys e.g. small dragons, unicorns and other mythical creatures. If anyone has anything that they no longer use at home, we would be grateful for any donations!! (not soft toys).
Communications with School: If you need to email a member of staff, please could you not email them directly but send emails via admin@stmichaelsaldboure.co.uk. These will then be forwarded to the relevant teacher.
Absence and Sickness: School starts, and registers are taken at 8.55am. Please could you let the office know before 9am if your child is absent from school so the register can be adjusted accordingly.
Message from Pre-school:
On Wednesday afternoon the staff and children set up an activity for the following morning involving leaving water and toys to freeze over night to see what happened. By the time the children arrived at 9am the activity had been destroyed by the arriving school children. Please can parents not to allow their children on pre-school equipment before and after school and refrain from touching the weather station on the fence.
