In the woods today we shared our thoughts on why the Stone Age was called so. We went on to talk about flint and how it was knapped to make smaller shapes for knives and arrows. We knew this due to finds on archaeological digs.
Children then had a go at knapping their own flints and we surprised how tricky it was!
Hot chocolate was enjoyed by those who needed warming up.
