Birch class have had a fantastic, creative afternoon in the woods today. We spent time talking about habitats and what they were. Some children made bug hotels to take home and put into their garden (for the insects to hide from their predators), using a variety of tools including the giant loppers and elder!
Others enjoyed climbing, making hot chocolate (apparently, it’s never too hot for that!) and finding bugs!
Busy, engaged children, learning to love the world around them – what a delightful way to spend an afternoon!
