Spring in Hazel Class

This week Hazel Class have been looking at all the signs of Spring, in and around school. We found daffodils and crocuses, blossom, and birds building a nest! We were very excited when we discovered that we had frogspawn in our garden pond and saw several frogs swimming around. Some children enjoyed the sunshine and sat down to sketch the pretty spring flowers and others sketched the sheep they spotted in a nearby field.

We were also very lucky to visit the lambs on a local farm this week. We were very keen to learn lots of new facts about the animals and we had the chance to hold a lamb too! A big thank you to Mr Brown for allowing us to visit the farm, we had a wonderful time.

Have a look at some of our spring pictures below.
