Acorn and Rowan class enjoyed a really interesting afternoon on Palmers Field, finding out about the archaeological dig. We saw metal detecting in action and some groups were lucky to find coins and other finds being dug out of the ground. We also learnt about a wartime jeep and some of the weaponry and other tools that the Band of Brothers would have used during the war. Thank you to the Aldbourne Heritage Group and the amazing people working on the dig for sharing so much interesting knowledge with us today!
