Today Elder Class have been finding out about life during Anglo – Saxon times. We were inspired by their use of natural materials to build their houses. So…we decided to have a go!
We created our own wattle and then used clay and straw to make our own daub. We were rather pleased that we weren’t using the fully traditional Anglo-Saxon method – they mixed animal poo with their mud and straw….yuk!!
It was messy but great fun!
