Following an audit from the Outside Play and Learning team (OPAL), we are delighted to announce we have become a Platinum accredited OPAL school, the highest achievement! A huge thank you to the children for all the energy they brought to showing the team how they play and to all of the staff who work tirelessly to ensure the children have the best time with our OPAL equipment.
We will be presented with our award on Tuesday 4th June at 2.30pm and would like to invite all parents to attend! This will be followed by a stay and play session so you can see what it is all about!
For those who are not familiar, OPAL is an award-winning, mentor supported school improvement programme that addresses all the areas that schools must plan for if they want to strategically and sustainably improve the quality of their play opportunities. OPAL is the only programme of its kind that has been independently proven to sustainably improve the quality of play in British primary schools.
