Birch class had a glorious afternoon in the forest on Monday!! The return was eagerly anticipated by all the children and they entered the forest with huge amounts of excitement!
They spent time observing what had changed from the last visit, noticing how the fuller canopy changed the wood’s atmosphere.
The afternoon was filled with child led play and learning – zooming down the mud slide and face painting with lots of jaups due to the rain! The children most definitely enjoyed being back in the woods and the fire and hot chocolate were, as always, enjoyed by all!!
