It has been a week full of Design & Technology in Rowan class this week. This term, we have been learning about frame structures; structures made of thin components (like the Eiffel Tower). We built wildlife shelters, containing a frame structure covered by camouflaged walls. Having sawed, sanded and glued the frame, we meticulously painted the outer coverings. Year 5 should be very proud of some of their finished products!
