In Elder Class this week the children have been exploring the book ‘Escape from Pompeii’. It tells the story of a young boy, Tranio, who experiences the eruption of Mount Vesuvius.
We have been thinking about his emotions at different points of story and on Thursday the children tried to help Tranio make his mind up about whether to run away or stay. They formed a conscience alley where Tranio (AKA Alfie) walked between the children and were given advice about what to do. They were great!!!
