We had a musical start to the week with half the class learning the cornet with Mrs Lomas and Mrs Roe, whilst the other half learned to play ukulele with Mr Pavey!
In science we have been exploring Forces. We took our lesson outside to explore the different ways pushes and pulls work in the world around us!
In PE we have been having a go at ‘Shadow Play’. We have been learning to develop our footwork and one leg balance skills. We also enjoyed a Shadows and Leaders activity in pairs or groups, following commands to start or freeze or change speed and shape!
Finally, we heard a wonderful selection of ideas for improving our school and were treated to some fabulous videos, presentations and speeches – and an impressive set of candidates – as we held our Cherry Class school council elections! The results will follow next week.
