Year 5 led a beautiful assembly on the value of perseverance. They taught how people such as Walt Disney and George Lucas showed perseverance in abundance to be able to create so many wonderful films that people all around the world enjoy today. We were also introduced to Malala Yousafzai, the youngest winner of the Nobel Peace Prize, who persevered in spreading her message about women’s education rights, even after being shot! By learning about their example, we learnt just how important is to never give up! Thank you for teaching us such an important message, Year 5!
