Well what a first day we had! Sunshine, fun… adventures, fun… teamwork, encouragement… and more fun! After arriving and having lunch, we were straight into our first activities: we split into groups and tackled the climbing wall, hoverboarding or water-wars! The children were amazing and had SOOOO much fun! After that it was time to find our rooms – the children LOVED unpacking, organising and preparing their ‘new homes’ for the next few days! Soon it was dinner time, and after a hearty meal, we were out for our night hike. As the sun set, we wandered through the woods, played lots of fun games and watched the bats swooping above out heads. Finally we headed back to the house for a night-cap of hot chocolate and biscuits! What an awesome first day! Roll on day 2!!
