Year 6 have enjoyed a very exciting day full of books and stories. We took part in the book swap, finding new tales to read – thank you to the Aldbourne Book Group for very generously gifting us with so many new and wonderful stories to read! This afternoon, we spent a little time sharing our favourite books… From the very silly Once Upon An Alphabet by Oliver Jeffers, to poetry, to non-fiction books about cars, monkeys and more, Year 6 shared their love of such a wide range of books this afternoon. To end World Book Day, we spent some time with our buddies, sharing some stories together.
