The sunshine this week has been wonderful and has given us extra energy in Birch! We’re enjoying ‘The Boy Who Grew Dragons’ and have been busy thinking about ingredients to add to our magic potion to create our own dragons. The children’s creativity with this in their writing was incredible. We also had a great time acting out a scene from the book! We’ve loved learning about and making our own maps in Geography and spent a very happy hour using carbon copy paper to make our own prints in Art. The sunshine gave us a great excuse to plant some veg with Mrs Standfast, which we can’t wait to sample at our snack station.
