It was great to have our new Elder Class back in school today! We spent some time thinking about how we cope with the emotions associated with failure and how mistake making helps us to learn.
The children had a go building a house of cards…there was lots of perseverance required and we certainly had to learn from our mistakes. Over a very short time the children made amazing progress and learnt the power of the little word ‘yet’.
‘I can’t do it!’ very quickly became, ‘I can’t do it…yet!’
