What a difference in the weather we’ve had this week! The children have really enjoyed splashing around in the outdoor area, creating tracks for the water to flow down and listening to the rain hammering on the roof of the shelter. We have also been reading a great book called ‘Fergal is Fuming’, which the children have really enjoyed. They thought of lots of lovely ways to help Fergal calm down when he gets cross, as well as using some fantastic descriptive language for him. We thought about what Geography is and what we’d like to learn about the world we live in, as well as zooming in on the local area on Google Earth, to see some familiar landmarks. The children were thrilled to start their woodwork training this week, learning about how to use the saw and glue gun safely!
