This week in Year 6

What a week we’ve had: learning about the circulatory system; meeting Wendy Searle – a female adventurer about to take part in a solo-ski to the South Pole; preparing for the rugby festival; comparing the Arctic and Antarctic in geography, writing about the stations of the cross in English, getting stuck into percentages in maths and designing our own expedition food menu! Oh, and we also took part in a BBC live lesson, learning about oceans – Steve Backshall spoke to us live from the Bahamas!
