Social cogs working in PE for Cherry class!

Cherry class had a great first PE session back after halfterm!

First, they had to use their social cog (different social skills) to play Diece Frenzy!

They were given 4 actions if they rolled the numbers 1-4 on the dice but they had to choose the actions, as a group, if they rolled a 5 or 6. This involved the children having to listen to each other and work together to ensure they were all happy and felt listened to.

Then, we launced our dance unit! WALK LIKE AN EGYPTIAN!

The children watched a dance and listened to the music and had to come up with their own Egyptian style dance moves. Again, they had to use their social cogs to work together. They were told to link 3 movements together following 8 counts (the beat).
