Throughout our science lessons this term, Rowan class have been exploring the trying to understand more clearly the interactions of the sun, earth and moon. They have loved discovering facts about the relative scale and size of the celestial objects as well as being able to explain the reasons for the seasons, day and night and why the moon appears differently throughout the Luna Cycle. To finish off their learning on this topic, the children in Rowan were excited to be able to explain the earth’s tilt and orbit around the sun to children in Birch class.
