Rowan class have been getting to know the woods again! It has been a real treat to have our turn in the forest and the children have loved exploring the environment and seeing what has changed.
The class have been using the sessions to explore and celebrate how unique we all are.
We had a great time in the woods this week, despite its soggy start! Some of the children enjoyed the tools, there were lots of ‘pop up’ cafes and others enjoyed making mud pies for Mrs Maslin and Mrs Parmiter. Others enjoyed swinging, tree climbing and digging. The fire was also lit and a small group was able to light the Ghille Kettle for everyone to enjoy hot chocolate.
We can’t wait until next week!!
