Well what a start to the summer term! We arrived at Grittleton safe and well have had an amazing start to our adventure. We began by having a walk around the beautiful house and grounds before splitting into groups to take part in the first of our activities. Children had the best time playing aero-ball, body zorbing and water zorbing. Next we had dinner before heading out on our night hike. We finished the day with a hot chocolate, some story-telling and circle time discussing what and who we are most proud of. Some of the comments were just amazing:
‘I’m really proud of my friends for being brave and strong…’
‘Our group made an oath to be there for one another if we are feeling worried…’
‘I have had the best day ever and can’t wait for tomorrow’
