Rockley Day Three – Day Sailing and Rockley’s Got Talent

Another absolutely fantastic day! We woke up bright and early and the room inspectors, as always, did a thorough sweep of the rooms…

We have enjoyed playing different games such as uno and chess during quiet moments this week and today was no exception. Miss James was also very busy this morning running the Rockley Hair Salon!

Today, we set out for a days’ sailing on a few different types of boats such as “pirate ships” and motorboats. The children were in charge of lots of the steering and they loved having a good singsong! We stopped off at the lovely Hamworthy Park for lunch, a game of football and a bit of frisbee-ing.

Back on the boats, we stopped for a quick swim together before returning to dry land. Back at the lodge, it was time for more uno and chess before a lovely dinner of burgers and potato wedges followed by brownies and cream. Needless to say, tonight’s menu was probably our favourite!

This evening’s entertainment was Rockley’s Got Talent. We enjoyed comedy sketches, stand-up routines, singing and dancing. Whether it was funny, bizarre or a beautiful song, we were so, so proud of everyone taking part. What a great way to spend our final evening!
