We’ve had a busy couple of weeks in Year 6! As well as preparing for SATs, we’ve been investigating shadows in science; we enjoyed a brilliantly insightful tour around the village linked to our WW2 topic and then had the pleasure of meeting Dave Mann, an evacuee who was evacuated from London during WW2. We also created some art work linked to our learning about The Blitz which formed part of the village VE day display (a massive thank you to Aldbourne Heritage Group for all your support with our history topic!). This week, Year 6 were calm and collected as they tackled their SATs – they did an amazing job demonstrating all of their knowledge and skills, and, I dare say, I think they might have even enjoyed it! Well done Year 6 – we’re super-proud of all of you!
