What an incredible day we have had as a whole school celebrating all things Jubilee!! We started the day all together in the hall where the Reverend Sue shared with the children her thoughts about the Queen’s remarkable 70 years of service.
We then split into our house groups to learn a dance to Rock around the Clock tonight, an incredible collaborative work of art which is now displayed in the church. All the children then created their own crowns and most importantly, prepared food for our very own tea party!
We went to the green where all the children were presented with their celebratory mug from the Carnival Committee – watch this space for the official photograph!
We finished the day on the playground all together to eat our delicious food.
All children went home with a delightful book from the Churches Together to commemorate the Jubilee. Thank you to everyone involved for making this happen.
