Wow! Cherry and Elder had the most wonderful trip to Boscombe beach in Bournemouth, even the teachers said “That was one of the best trips!”
The sun was shining all day and all you could see were happy children.
On arrival, the children were so excited so explore the sand and all went off. They were busy burying each other in the sand, building sandcastles, collecting shells and pebbles and playing with all the sports equipment.
Soon it was time for the SAND CASTLE COMPEITION! We had the most amazing sandcastles; we even had a recreation of Aldbourne!
What a joy it was to eat our lunch on the beach with our friends. We do not think there were too many sandy sandwiches!
After lunch, it was Ice-cream time! Who doesn’t love a Mr Whippy? Whilst eating ice creams, a nice leisurely walk was had along the pier followed by a dip in the sea. It was such great fun jumping over the waves trying not to get too wet. Some of us may have enjoyed the sea a little too much…
Here are many pictures from the most fabulous day at the Beach. We hope you enjoy!!!
