This week in Acorn Class we have been learning about explorers – Scott of the Antartic, women scientists in Antartica today and thinking about our own adventures. The children have been inspired to create pictures of the Northern Lights, create sledges (with huskies) and design a new transport to get to Antarctica. All this and their own child-led activities with lots of drawing, hama beads and outdoor adventures!
