Birch class have had the most fantastic, busy day. We have celebrated harvest, planted our Birch tree (or Betula Pendula as we like to call it!) and taken part in the Welly Walk.
We reflected on why we celebrate Harvest; all the children made and ate delicious vegetable soup, wrote poems about Harvest as well as creating something that represents God’s beautiful world from the loose parts in our classroom.
Then we planted our Birch Tree
Finally, we completed the Welly Walk!
