We held the first St Michaels House day of the year! And what a day it was! Our theme was all about working collaboratively. The children excelled at this.
The children were split into their houses and were sent off on their activities.
One activity was junk modelling where the book “Not a Box” was used as inspiration. The children then created their own amazing creations.
The second activity was Andy Goldsworthy art where the children used all the natural resources they had collected to make art work. The art work was very impressive.
The third activity was spending some time in the forest. The children got to make and eat smores, they were blind folded and had to complete a challenge also they made their very own stick men.
The finally activity involved using the play pod where the children had to use the equipment to make an obstacle course. Each and every group were extremely different and we were so impressed with their creativity.
The children had a wonderful day as did the teachers!
