Grant Applications:  We wondered if anyone would be interested in helping us secure additional funding through completing several grant applications.  If these applications are successful they can make a substantial difference to our school.  If you would like to help please see Mrs Hamilton or Mrs Arkwright.

School Choir:  Well done to the choir who sang at the Aldbourne Band Christmas Concert last weekend, and thank you to all the parents who turned up to support them.  What an amazing night it was!

 Messages from the PTA:

Christmas Fair:  Thank you to everyone who helped with the Christmas Fair, whether you donated a raffle prize, contributed to the tombola, set up or cleared away, ran a stall or came to support the event. We raised just over £1000! A special thank you to Anna for designing and printing the posters and to the teachers who gave up their time as well. Thank you to Laurie for organising Santa to visit the school during his busiest time of the year and to Nicky and Alan who went the extra mile to help the event organiser and did a fantastic job on the day doing all the cooking as well. A final thank you to Nathalie who always sets up the grotto, it was her last year and she will be missed.

Message from The Whitton Team:

Admin Support in the Parish (Team) Office:  Our current administrator will be leaving in January 2020.  The Whitton PCC, a registered charity, is therefore seeking an able and friendly administrator to deal with a range of administrative, document design, information management, procurement and other related office activities for the churches of the Whitton Parish (Aldbourne, Axford, Baydon, Chilton Foliat, Froxfield and Ramsbury).

The work would primarily be in support of the clergy team and churchwardens. Our current experience is that this generally requires around 10 hours a week, and our preference is for these services to be provided on-site, at our office in Ramsbury, normally spread over two or three mornings a week. Basic DBS clearance would be required.

If this is something that interests you and you would like more information, please contact Joanna Hobart (hobartjc@btinternet.com) or the Team Office (teamoffice@whittonteam.org.uk) with an expression of interest by the 6th January.  We would hope to interview as soon thereafter as possible.
