St. Michael’s Weekly Post – 20th November 2020

20th November 2020

Following last week’s great House Day, Four Barrows have counted all the donations and can confirm they raised £367.30 for Children in Need. Well done, Four Barrows and all those that donated!

You can see photos from our week in school on our homepage or in our News section of our website and also on our Facebook page.

Pupil Data Collection

As a reminder, please complete our Pupil Data Collection form using this link to ensure we have the most up to date and accurate data on file for each child, by Friday 27th November (extended by a week). When completing the form you will need to have your emergency contact details to hand, along with the address and phone number of your medical practice. Please complete a separate from for each child at school.

Should your child require medication in school please complete the Medication form and email it to admin@stmichaelsaldbourne.co.uk. Medication should be brought to the front door and given to the Office so a record can be made of the medication that is in school.

Brass Ensemble – Thursday 26th November

The Brass Ensemble will be recording their performance of Jingle Bells in joint collaboration with the Aldbourne Brass Band. It would be wonderful if all Brass Ensemble children could bring in a Christmas hat or jumper for this performance.

Chicken Pox

Please be aware there have been confirmed cases of chicken pox in the village. If your child is absent from school but well enough to undertake home learning, please contact the class teacher via ClassDojo so they can provide you with home learning details.

Message from St Michael’s Church:

Please find attached a flyer regarding Chrisitingle. This year, the Christingle will be a “distributed” one, available on-line, to keep everyone safe! Goody bags with “Christingle kits” will be available at: St Michael’s Church, Aldbourne & St Nicholas Church, Baydon, between 2.30pm and 3.45pm on Friday 27th November, and between 11.30am and 12.30pm on Saturday the 28th November.
