In the glorious sunshine this morning, Elder Class took part in an exciting netball tournament, proudly led by our Year 6 sports leaders! This marked a first for the sports leaders at St Michael’s and they approached their new roles with great enthusiasm and energy.
To kick things off, we split into teams, put on our bibs and headed out to the playground ready to compete. With three games running at a time, each lasting 10 minutes, our sports leaders did a fantastic job refereeing and supporting each match.
After all the games were completed, the scores were tallied and the results were in. It was a close result, but a big congratulations to the Green Team for winning the tournament!
It was a brilliant morning full of teamwork, sportsmanship, and fun. We thoroughly enjoyed our first tournament at St Michael’s and are already looking forward to many more in the future!
